Re: Garage Band 10.3.2 Questions

I wonder if any Garageband super-users might be able to help me. I have made three successful recordings so far. Went to use GB just now and although I have not changed anything, for some reason it is not recognising my voice input (not sure quite how to express that). I have tested the inbuilt mic ...

Re: [Weekly Poem] At A Lunar Eclipse by Thomas Hardy - dl

Good reading Lynne, but the volume is too high at 100 dB, we look for around 89 dB. There is also 10 seconds of ending silence, we need only 5 seconds. You should aim for your wave forms to peak near the 0.5 mark, like this: http://wiki.librivox.org/images/4/4d/Volume.jpg You can check your ...

Re: OPEN Short Poetry Collection 188 - rap

PS: I noticed some sounds/clicks in the beginning of the poem, and at the very end of the recording, a noise like starting and/or stopping recording (like pushing the button). If your editing program allows, you can easily edit out (delete) those clicks. Not a real problem, but just some feedback f...

Hi from Sydney, Australia

A bit slow I know since I was so eager to jump in I've already submitted a couple of recordings. Looking forward to gradually tackling longer projects. In the meantime, can anyone help me display my LV reader page as linked text in my signature correctly. I'm not great at BBcode :help: cheers, Lynne

Hope it's not too smokey where you are.

Re: [Weekly Poem] At A Lunar Eclipse by Thomas Hardy - dl

So I've just realised I have made a mistake just comparing others' urls to my own. How do I fix that or will I need to upload it again? Also, I've been listening to everyone else's recordings to see how others approached it and noticed that Claire's is missing a line: "With the torn troubled fo...
