Re: [CLASSICS/GROUP] Parallel Lives Vol. 7, by Plutarch-Leni

I see we are now in "Readers Wanted." Thanks, Leni, for moving the project forward. A clarification for prospective readers: I gave the chapter ranges in the MW as Roman numerals, because that's how they are printed in the book, but I don't expect anybody to spell them out as letters. Just read them...

And Chapter 13 (26:54)

Well! We've had the last three remaining sections posted, by three different readers, in the space of two and a half hours. How's that for timing?

Re: [CLASSICS/GROUP] Parallel Lives Vol. 7, by Plutarch-Leni

Thanks, Leni. The easy stuff is done, I think. I took a look a the page count on the life of Alexander and decided it wouldn't work in three sections. Each section should be right around half an hour as currently divided.

Re: Plutarch Vol. 7

It's on the launchpad. See what I've neglected or done wrong in editing the template. Project name, filenames, genres, and summary should be uniform with the previous volumes. I couldn't find keywords in the other volumes. Currently thinking three sections per biography, plus two comparisons, for 14...

Re: [History] Napoleon, by RM Johnston - dlo

Ok, thanks. I think you’ve got another chapter due soon as well. Recorded the first ten minutes of Chapter 6 yesterday. I'll find it easier to set aside time to record starting next week, now that summer is over. Usually, I like to contribute at least an hour to each project for which I record (at ...

Re: Plato in Ancient Greek

Here's what I am currently thinking for the selection. There is an outstanding series of recordings by Julius Tomin. http://www.juliustomin.org/greekreadaloud/plato.html My own recordings will probably be most valuable if I record selections that he has not recorded. So I propose to record, as a war...

For what it's worth, this is listed in the multi-volume works thread: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=37671
Yes, that's what gave me the idea of taking on this project.
