Re: [GROUP-SCIFI] The Planet Mappers by E. Everett Evans - icequeen
The actual length in REAPER shows as 17:48, but REAPER never deletes edits, you can always call them back up, so it likely appears as much longer when pulling up to edit in Audacity, which often registers things like clipping though there's compression post-processing, or full time when there's an e...

Actually, I realized I forgot to make it a mono render. I just did that, here's the new link:

Re: [GROUP-SCIFI] The Planet Mappers by E. Everett Evans - icequeen
Ready for quality check. https://librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/planetmappers_04_evans_128kb.mp3 There is a part near the end of the chapter where the brothers are yelling to each other, and there's about 1dB of clipping. I know it's still clipping but we lost hardly any information. If you want me t...

Re: Strategy of Indirect Approach by Liddell Hart
Gotcha, thanks Anne!
For now, I'll still keep an eye out for cool works, and help out with those already in process.
Best,
Bryan

Re: Strategy of Indirect Approach by Liddell Hart
Thanks Anne, I'm actually an intellectual property manager at a university press, actually I used to work for Hathi Trust, which is only a few doors down from my office (which I think is what you're referencing). And my point is that because of the Be cause of the Berne convention, if a book is in c...

Strategy of Indirect Approach by Liddell Hart
This title is another of Liddell Hart's. We've done some before but my understanding is that his works are still in copyright. His works were all copyrighted first in the UK, a member of the Berne Convention and GATT. In the UK, copyright is still 70 years after the death of the author correct? unle...

Re: [group]Some Everyday Folk & Dawn by Miles Franklin-ans
Thanks Barbara!
I'll go back and remove the repeat, I thought I got them all. I can try and re-record the areas where clipping occurred. I wasn't running the compressor on the input which is why that happened, sorry about that!

Re: [group]Some Everyday Folk & Dawn by Miles Franklin-ans
I'm not ready to upload yet, but I was wondering, is the name I want to select when uploading still "annise" or is it different now that you're running the project Lucas?
Thanks,
Bryan

Re: [group]Some Everyday Folk & Dawn by Miles Franklin-ans
Thanks Lucas and Barbara, I think I'll stick with "MGoBirch" for this book (I can select to use my real name in subsequent projects right?) Also, if a soundcloud account is okay to link to, I'm documenting me learning how to narrate and do voice acting, so that would be great to link to th...
