Audacity flatlining on 'Record'...anyone else had/have same problem?

Hello I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same problem with Audacity that I am currently experiencing. It's been working okay up to now, but it's suddenly not recording. When I press 'record', the blue tracking line stays flat and no recording takes place. I have checked the microphone (USB) se...

Re: 1 minute test uploaded

Hi Lynda I've followed your advice (hopefully got it right) and made the alterations. Just one thing - after uploading the file, I couldn't find the file to check my recording levels before sending. I'm just taking it step by step at the present time - I've read the relevant information about working on the books, but am not sure where I go next to access the file,...

Re: Hello from Wales

Thank you for the welcome, Moniaqua :) Yes, I agree, I'm not less busy, but definitely more relaxed...and I think that's because I am now doing just what I want to do. Looking forward to happy days ahead and getting set up to contribute to LibriVox :D

Help needed please re: accessing LibriVox website [ANSWERED]

Hello I'm new to LibriVox and, whoops! have already run into difficulty...my username and password are accepted to get onto the forum, but aren't accepted to access anywhere else on the LibriVox website. I don't know what I've done wrong, so would be grateful if someone can advise me, please....

Hello from Wales

Hello everyone I'm Gail, I live in beautiful north Wales with my husband, two spaniels and two tortoises (there are also two grown up children, but they've now 'flown the nest' and are enjoying independent lives - so my work is done there ;-) and I've just retired from a 30 year nursing career. So I...
