Re: SOLO [My Chinese Marriage] by [Mae Franking and Katherine Anne Porter]

Spiffy, (I like that name) I would love to PL this. And I applaud your idea of keeping it under control - one chapter a week or so. That way, I hope, you won't get burned out and will have a long career at LV :D I will be here no matter what rate you want to work at this. Cheryl Hi Cheryl---...

Re: Is a book published in 1923 a possibility?

Yep, because the year things are PD is moving yearly now. :) The trick might be finding an e-text. If it's on Gutenberg, you're golden. It might also be on Archive or HathiTrust.org. I found it on the internet archive. I was wondering why that date didn't seem to be changing. Thanks for the reply! SC

I'm guessing that's a no, but curious. It's called Memories of the Russian Court. Thanks, SC
1923 is good. It's after 1923 that's the problem.
Cool! Thanks. SC

Re: [SOLO]My Chinese Marriage by Mae Franking & Katherine Anne Porter

MW coming up. edit: You might decide to split each chapter into two parts. Adding sections is easy but the intros and outros would be different. Your decision. Have fun. Oh, thanks for doing this. I just saw your message (got a little busy) so we can just do the four sections. They are marvelously ...

Re: [COMPLETE] Martin Luther by Carl E. Koppenhaver - dc

Hi Craigdav---Looks beautiful. I had decided from now on to use my real name, since I don't plan on recording any more controversy, so if it's not too much trouble, Elyse J. Wood is my name, and Danielle is going to drift into obscurity. I do like the looks of that page, I have to say. Thank you. SC

Re: [SOLO] Martin Luther by Carl E. Koppenhaver - dc

Hi Cheryl---I'm thrilled that you are willing to do my next book! Thank you. I'm not feeling too inspired about the Luther summary so if anyone wants to change it, no problem. How about: This short, engaging volume summarizes the life of a priest who, intending to spark a lively academic debate by n...
