But that is probably what I should have said at the end of section 12. End of chapter 7.

And noise-cleaning is an important tool and quite easy to do in Audacity (are you using that program ?) I think many, if not most of us use it in each recording.

Yes, I am using Audacity. And, it's true. Noise cleaning is super easy and effective. Thanks for pushing me to figure it out.
