Re: How can I search and get a list of all Short Story Colle

Thanks RuthieG! That worked.
Do you or anyone else have suggestions for any particular collections that would be good for a long car ride with my children ranging from age 8 to 17?

How can I search and get a list of all Short Story Collectio

How can I search and get a list of all Short Story Collections? I have tried searching but I get a huge list with each and every individual story. I seem to remember the search form used to have a picker for complete books vs. chapters (or stories in this case). Am I imagining this? Thanks, and huge...

Re: 'Thank you' messages for Librivox in general

I've been a fan for years, and right now, I am about a third of the way through The Brothers Karamazov, which I listen to on my long commute. It is a privilege to be able experience this masterpiece this way. I can't imagine being able to carve out the time to read books like this myself, with work,...

Thanks everyone! Downloading The Scarlet Pimpernel right now. I have already listened to the War of the Worlds and The Invisible Man. I may try Tarzan after that.

Good escapist listens?

Hi Folks, I'm going through a stressful time right now (trying to sell a house, etc) and would like suggestions on Librivox titles that are "page turners". I have been listening to "Pilgrims Progress", which is very well read ( thanks Joy Chan  ), but it's just not suited for my current ...

Holy cow , I guess it's hopeless  I once joked to my wife that we need to move farther away from my work so that I can have more time listen in the car. Seriously, you guys have brought a great gift into my life! I haven't had the time to read real literature in years what with work and ...

How many recorded hours are added per week or month?

I was just wondering if I'll ever catch up :) I spend about 2.5 hours in my car every day. Most days I am listening to a Librivox recording. Let's say I listen to 40 hours a month-- is new content being added at a faster rate than this?

thanks,
Chris

Problems with Moll Flanders and Journal of the Plague Year

I've been enjoying these Daniel Defoe books immensely. Thank you Mr. Sayers and everyone else involved! I ran across a couple of bloopers, though: 1. In the last chapter of the Journal, after about 14 minutes, the chapter begins again, repeats the first part, and continues on to the end. (Sonata all...
