Re: OPEN[PLAY]Cynthia's Revels by Ben Jonson - thw

I am so sorry guys. Things are crazy here. I’m playing a gruff voiced safari guy for ur churches VBS and I had planned recording this part this week, but my voice is going to be shot. Plus I’ve got so much stuff the rest of the summer. I am so sorry. I’m going to have to give up Asotus. When things ...

Hi Betsy, that would be great! Thanks for claiming, welcome aboard

Aaron, I'm so sorry I haven't gotten to PLing yet--things have been a bit hectic and I was stuck without headphones for a bit. Will get to it soon, I promise!

No problem at all!

Re: OPEN [Dialogue] Zeus the Tragedian, by Lucian-mas

Hello All - Here is Zeus. A super fun part to play. At the beginning of his long dialogue explaining his story to the Gods, I sound tentative and stumbling. That is intentional, as the notes indicate that he made an error near the beginning, so I had him work to build up his steam again. https://lib...

Re: OPEN[PLAY]Dr Johnson by A Edward Newton - thw

Since I was recording a new voice credit any way - I hope you don't mind, but I just read through the lines again (only took a few minutes) with a different voice to distinguish.
Here is the updated file.

Re: OPEN[PLAY]Dr Johnson by A Edward Newton - thw

oh please don't misunderstand me: I actually think your voice sounds quite the same for both servants, that's not what I meant. I meant I don't think he "should" be the same servant, as he doesn't work for the same master obviously. Not your fault. I figured we only need another voice credit. Let's...

Re: OPEN[PLAY]Dr Johnson by A Edward Newton - thw

I confess - I actually didn't read through this play - as my parts were fairly small - I wanted to just listen to the finished product. I read enough around my parts to get the gist of it and the characters, but I wasn't sure about the servants. The one in Act 3 did sound a little different, but I w...

Your doing a pretty good job as a narrator though, especially when it's only missing lines... and 1 of those wasn't really your mistake. I will probably PL more tomorrow, but will try to complete them before the weekend so you can edit. Thank you Aaron!
No hurry on my behalf.

Re: Courage by Ruth Ogden (Dramatic Reading) - tg

PL notes for Narrator Chapter 3: @ 4:19 Missing lines (wrongly colored): "and then she could go no further." @ 7:27 Missing lines "and finally, concluding that she really said." That's it. But still, a very nice reading! Thanks Elijah. If you don't mind terribly much - I'll go in and update all the...

Re: OPEN[PLAY]The Eunuch by Terence - thw

Here is Phaedria. Upload hint - the uploader does not like the "ae" combined in one letter. I had to switch to a and e. https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/eunuchus_phaedria_1_128kb.mp3 https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/eunuchus_phaedria_2_128kb.mp3 https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/eunuchus_pha...
