Re: [Stories] The Book of the Thousand Nights and a Night (Arabian Nights), Vol 9 - tg

My recording equipment has a lot more noise now than it did before, so I'm trying to see if I can even get a quality recording. Feel free to reassign my section if it will hold the process up, although I do plan to try to resolve it and complete the section if possible.

I don't know if my recording equipment can get a clear enough recording. I've rerecorded again (actually, the 7th time, not counting unsaved attempts) in the middle of the night to eliminate household noises, but there's still a lot of random pops and things after running noise reduction. I've been having trouble recording section one...my brain doesn't seem to appreciate the writing style, so I sound robotic/bored every time I try. I recorded some chapters for another book and plan to try recording this again this weekend to see if I can do any better with the extra experience.

Hi Craig,

I have a quick question. Do we read the offset text that's at the beginning of each section within the chapter, or treat it as a note and ignore it?

Thanks,

Heather

May I read section 1? Thanks for your interest in the project! You're welcome to read that section. Before I can officially sign you up, I'll need to know under what name or pseudonym you'd like to appear in the catalog. We can also link to a personal website or blog if you'd like. Cheers, Foon You...

May I claim section 44? I might also want to do section 45 if 44 goes well.

Hello from Heather

Hello everyone. I joined a few days ago, but delayed this post as I have been working extra long shifts at work. I live near Orlando, FL (noticed some recent posts from others in FL). I'm not an auditory learner, so always much preferred reading books myself, but time (the patience to sit still with...
