Re: The "I obviously didn't know that" thread
You're light-years ahead of me. I don't even know what Replay Gain does, though I've seen its name in passing. All I have learned to use so far are Noise Reduction and Amplify. Oh but you recently joined LibriVox, you have an excuse! Here’s me, 2+ years on the forums and, Zach, I don’t know very mu...

Re: One Book A Week Club 2020
As there’s no 2021 thread as far as I can see, I’ll post here... I’m currently reading Les Misérables by Victor Hugo, as well as The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. In 2020 I read 40+ books for school, none of which were exceptional. I read To Kill a Mockingbird with my fami...

Re: “Mark forums unread?”
*sigh* No, I wasn’t playing around- For convenience I usually check my LV notifications on my phone and then I ended up accidentally hitting the link with my finger. It’s okay, just annoying because- like Devorah- I use the red highlighting to show when I haven’t read something, miscellaneous work, ...

“Mark forums unread?”
I accidentally hit the Mark Forums Read button and I don’t see a way to undo it. Is it possible that I could reverse that action?
If not, no worries, it’s just frustrating.

Re: Don't you hate...
I never thought of it like that. Maybe there’s a method to the madness after all. I wonder what they’re trying to tell me.  I use Word/OneDrive, which also has undo button (not that I thought of it that day either)... I wound up having to load an earlier version I think... I don't handw...

Re: Don't you hate...
I use Google docs. Embarrassingly enough, I had forgotten that the Undo button existed so when my cat deleted two chapters I spent the next couple days rewriting everything. Normally I actually prefer handwriting everything in my notebooks, that way cats can’t delete everything. They can, ho...

Re: Don't you hate...
I’m a writer too and yes, my 20 pound tabby once deleted like two whole chapters of my in-progress book   I guess that’s what comes with being a cat parent. Oh man... 2 chapters.... mine was only a paragraph... But the other cat did crash Audacity ruining almost an hours worth of work......

They don't get that they can't sit on the laptop keyboard even though I'm not using it (I'm also a writer working on original content and one of them deleted an entire section...)
