Sure thing!
Thanks.

And, could you put me in as DPL? I've had no response from our original DPL in many weeks so I've had to take on the task. This will make it easier for me to keep track of.

Been working on my "studio" space. Still some work before it's functional, but coming along. :)

You are now our DPL! I hope DivMS is OK!

New studio, how exciting! Of course moving to a new house is a lot of fun too, but a new space just for recording is such a great thing to have!

Thank you for your interest in this project.
We do, however, request that our new readers first complete a one-minute test recording to check out all of your technical specifications and any reading issues.

New to recording? Please read our Newbie Guide to Recording!

Here is a direct link to instructions for the one-minute sample recording:
https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test

Among the useful information there you will find instructions for completing your test recording. Once you have the "OK" on that, post again here and you are free to record for this project. Let us know how you would like to be credited in the LibriVox catalog - real name, pseudonym or any nickname or handle you wish.

Hmm. Well, I listened to the blooper, but guess I didn't get this in the MW.
Thanks for the bump.

Thank you for recording this. Sounds good, but there are a few corrections that are needed.

Beginning silence is too long at 2 seconds. We need only between ½ and 1 second.
Volume is only 86 dB

0:28 Do not repeat the section number again, so you can cut this. Pause between intro and beginning of narration should be about 1 ½ second. Anything over about two seconds will sound too long for the listener.

5:56 – 6:03 and 7:10 – 7:17 Do not read captions for photos or illustrations. Please delete.

Also, the volume is right at our lower limit of 86 dB so after you make the above corrections (start at the end and work to the beginning so the time references will be the same for you), please amplify this by 3 dBs.

Upload again under the same file name, then post the new link and file length here again so I can check it again.

Let me know if you have any questions or need help.

All the best,

Thank for the blooper! I sound exactly like that sometimes.
And, I've had a few close encounters with those lozenges. . . .

PL, but here is an optional correction for you:

At about 9:51 “This consists of” I hear. ”This consits of”
