Thanks Jenn - they're all PL OK.

Not to worry about your upload date - I'm almost but not quite ready to start editing a couple chapters. There are still a few voices yet to arrive, including my own read of Astro. (Yesterday I recorded Astro for the first dozen chapters - I still need to listen to myself to make sure the words I spoke match the text.)

The project still needs a DPL for the edited chapters as well as several smaller roles.

I can pick up Al Dixon if you still need the part filled.

Both chapters are PL OK, thanks.

It sounds like your microphone emphasizes low frequencies a bit much. I previewed using a filter to reduce everything below ~300 Hz around 10 dB and that made you sound pretty good. I expect I'll be doing that when editing your voice into the edited chapters.

PL OK, thanks.

If you want to read another character feel free to make a claim - just so it isn't someone who appears in chapter 11.

Hi! Is it alright to claim the Bill Houseman role and Tony Richards?

I'll be glad to have you do that.

You now have Bill Houseman and Tony Richards. If you can give each of these cadets a different voice go for it, but if you just read 'em both in your normal voice it shouldn't be jarring to the listeners because the two characters will be many minutes apart in the book.

In chapter 2 please include
Cadets Bill Houseman and Tony Richards read by Ojibawon
(is that the name you will be using for credits?) I'll move that to the end of chapter 22 and add it to the list of readers.

Recording for a dramatic reading is a bit different than reading chapters - just give me [ first line ] [ 4 -5 seconds of room noise ] [ second line ] [ 4 -5 seconds of room noise ] [ next line ] etc. (That room sound will give me a good handle when I'm doing any noise reduction.) Don't do any of your own noise reduction, filtering, compression, etc. - I will do these things if needed while hearing your lines and other people reading other characters.
