Hello,
Here's my 1-minute test. I used Audacity on my Macbook using Logitech G432 headset. I do plan on getting a new microphone soon.
Thanks - RF
1 Minute Test - Realfunghi [OK]
Welcome Mr. Funghi
I reviewed your test sample, and while it sounds good there are some technical changes needed. LibriVox requires audio that is 128kbps constant bit rate MP3, 44.1kHz sample rate, mono, and between 86dB and 92dB, preferably 89-90. Your test audio settings are correct, except the volume is too low at 68.7dB. There is also too much echo in your recording; you need a deader recording space.
Make sure input gain slider in Audacity (upper right with the little mic icon) is well to the right. Then adjust the input gain on your mic so your raw recording has wave forms that peak at about the 0.5 marks in the Audacity window:
If necessary, adjust the volume level before exporting by going to Effects>Amplify and enter an amount.
You can find advice on improving issues like room echo in the Librivox wiki:
https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Improve_Your_Recording
You can pre-check your audio yourself by downloading the free Checker app: https://cgjennings.ca/projects/checker/
Passed with Warnings is a fail with regard to volume.
Please make a new test recording and post it in a reply to this message. I will come back and review it for you.

Hello,
I made the recommended adjustments and I think I was able to deaden the sound in my room.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Denis

Volume is better at 79.8dB, but still well below the minimum of 86 and the target of 89. Turn your input gain up more and/or use Effects>Amplify. Do download and use Checker; it will save you a lot of time.
There is still too much room reverb, giving your voice that distant, hollow sound. The space needs to be deader still.
So, work on those and try another test, please.
